Program Information
The certificate in Construction Operations is designed to provide students with training in skill sets needed for construction related duties, such as land survey, material testing, construction equipment, and construction management. The certificate will provide professional engineering career paths for civil engineering students and provide more opportunities for leadership roles in construction companies.
The undergraduate certificate consists of twelve (12) credit hours of required courses.
Admission Requirements
Any student enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering program is admissible to this certificate program. Students from other units or schools who meet the prerequisite requirements of ENGR 101, PHYS 298, and CEE 254 or equivalent are also admissible.
The certificate requires the completion of 12 credit hours with a GPA of 2.25 or higher.

Students in this program will take Graduate sections of CEE 540 and CEE 541. These Graduate-level courses may be counted toward MEng CE after matriculation into that program.
