Computer Information Systems (Minor)
Give your career a competitive edge
Employers pay MORE for your business skills when they come with CIS/IT know-how. The Computer Information Systems minor is designed to give you the tech savvy you need to open more doors with a higher starting salary when you graduate. The minor equips non-CIS majors with the technical skills and awareness employers expect in executive and management-level positions in accounting, finance, marketing, economics and even equine industry positions.
This program was approved for students entering the university in the Summer 2025-Spring 2026 catalog year. For more information about catalog year, go to Catalog Year Information.
