Communication with 3+3 Track to Law (BA)

Combine strong communication skills with accelerated entry to law school. The 3+3 Communication + Law track lets students earn a BA and a JD in six years, preparing them for legal careers with a foundation in research, media and argumentation.

This accelerated program allows eligible Communication majors to start law school in their senior year. Students complete undergraduate requirements alongside the first 30 credit hours of law school, earning a BA after year one of law school and a Juris Doctor two years later. Coursework emphasizes communication theory, research, interpersonal and mass communication and culminates in a senior project or practicum.
