Chinese (Minor)

Equips students with in-demand language skills and cultural knowledge for today’s global marketplace. Open to all majors, it enhances careers in business, law, government, international relations and beyond while expanding cross-cultural communication and global perspectives.

This 18-credit program builds advanced proficiency in Chinese through intermediate and upper-level courses in conversation, reading, culture and film. Students tailor their minor with options like special topics or independent study. With its emphasis on real-world communication and cultural understanding, the Chinese minor complements any major and prepares students for global careers, graduate study or work abroad.
