The Doctor of Audiology degree is intended for students with a desire to provide high-quality hearing health care. Our program is especially designed with an emphasis on medical aspects of the field, like implantable hearing devices and vestibular (balance) testing.

The Doctor of Audiology at the University of Louisville offers a thorough and complete curriculum with a medical focus. In addition to diagnostic hearing tests and selection and fitting of amplification (i.e., hearing aids), our students delve into advanced areas like electrophysiology, vestibular (balance), implantable devices, and tinnitus. Our program prepares learners to practice audiology at the top of their license.
