Actuarial Mathematics (Minor)

Prepare for a future in risk analysis and financial modeling with a minor in actuarial mathematics. Open to undergraduates in any major, this program builds a strong foundation in calculus, probability and actuarial science to equip you for careers in insurance, finance or beyond.

Provides undergraduates with a rigorous foundation in calculus, probability, statistics and actuarial science. Designed to complement any major, it develops analytical and problem-solving skills valued in finance, insurance and risk management. Students complete 21 credit hours, including specialized courses such as "Theory of Interest and Foundations of Actuarial Science," preparing them for professional exams and careers where quantitative expertise is in demand.
