The Society of Toxicology has announced that John Wise Sr., Professor of Pharmacology & Toxicology, is the recipient of the 2022 Toxicology Mentoring Award. 

One of his graduate students, Aggie Williams who is a predoctoral fellow on the NIEHS T32 training grant in environmental health sciences is the recipient of the 2022 Bristol Myers Squibb Graduate Student Research Training Award to Promote Diversity in Toxicology. 

An undergraduate student Zayna Qaissi mentored by PhTx alumnus Dr. Banrida Wahlang in the 2021 NCI Cancer Education Program is the recipient of a 2022 SOT undergraduate research award.
