Sophie Sears, a pharmacology and toxicology program PhD candidate in the laboratory of Dr. Leah Siskind has been awarded an individual NIH F31 predoctoral fellowship from the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DIABETES AND DIGESTIVE AND KIDNEY DISEASES.  Her dissertation project is "Role of macrophages in cisplatin-induced kidney injury and progression to chronic kidney disease"
