Dr. J. Calvin Kouokam has received  faculty diversity research grant supplement from the National Institutes of Environmental Health Sciences under the mentorship of Professor John P. Wise, Sr.  The faculty diversity research grant supplement is linked to Dr. Wise's NIEHS R35 RIVER grant entitled "Chromosome Instability Drives Metal-Induced Lung Cancer".  Both Drs. Kouokam and Wise are faculty members of the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology.  Dr. Wise is Deputy Director of the Center for Integrative Environmental Health Sciences (CIEHS) and Dr. Kouokam is is participating in the CIEHS faculty career development program.
