Applications invited for tenure track assistant professor position in collaboration with Brown Cancer Center
The UofL Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology and the Brown Cancer Center invite applications for a tenure track assistant professor of pharmacology and toxicology faculty position in anticipation of a submission for NCI Designation in the next 3-4 years. Our new Environmental Carcinogenesis and Cancer Control Program is seeking an NIH-funded junior faculty recruit whose research will focus on environmental carcinogens. The candidate selected will actively contribute towards mission critical research, teaching and service activities of the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology and the Brown Cancer Center, including student instruction in the classroom and laboratory. The candidate will be an active member of the Environmental Carcinogenesis and Cancer Control Program in the Brown Cancer Center and will contribute towards criteria necessary for NCI designation.
Requirements: This is a full time, tenure track position. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience. Job requirements include a doctoral degree (PhD, MD/PhD, or foreign equivalent) and completion of postdoctoral training.
