Learning Objectives

As a result of participating in this activity, participants should be able to:

1. Utilize best practice guidelines in regard to treatment of acute stroke.
2. Use best practice guidelines in selection of patients for endovascular therapy.
3. Recognize and improve the efficiency of transfer of acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients to a comprehensive stroke center.
4. Recognize the various options for acute stroke patients utilizing endovascular therapy.
