This clinical skills training addresses knowledge gaps to care for patients who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) or have a difference of sex development (DSD). Providers will learn practical skills to improve patient interactions by creating an inclusive clinical environment, which will help address health disparities related to stigma and discrimination around LGBTQ/DSD identities.

Diagnosis and Treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome for Community Clinicians CE Enduring Material
This activity will provide physicians and advanced-practice providers a good foundation of the symptoms, diagnostic approaches and treatment therapies for chronic idiopathic constipation) patients with irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D)and IBS-C (constipation). Special emphasis will be placed on the exploration of newly approved agents and those on the horizon of clinical practice. Key topics to be discussed include the diagnosis of IBS, the safety and efficacy of recently approved pharmacologic agents, and optimizing treatment and patient management approaches.

Prevention & Therapies for Hepatitis and Chronic Liver Disease Seminars 2024 Enduring Material
This CME Enduring Material Activity will address emerging diagnostic and treatment approaches for Viral Hepatitis (Hep A, B, C, Delta and E) and Chronic Diseases of the Liver (Cirrhosis, Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Hepatic Encephalopathy, Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC) and Fatty Liver Disease. Time will also be spent on complications of cirrhosis, hepatorenal syndrome and liver health needs of special populations.
Improving Diagnostic and Treatment Outcomes of Cholestatic Liver Disease CE Enduring Material
This activity will explore the general natural history of PBC and PSC and provide information on the latest drug therapies currently available as well as those under investigation. A special section will focus on the frequent complaint of itching and will focus on the management of Cholestatic Pruritus.
