The Impact 2+2 Scholarship is UofL’s extension of the Jefferson County Impact scholarship.
The Jefferson County Impact Scholarship is for students who are awarded a Pell Grant as identified by the Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and who both live in and attend a private, parochial, or accredited homeschool in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
Eligible Impact Scholars can continue their education at the University of Louisville with the Impact 2+2 Scholarship. This is a renewable, last-dollar scholarship program that covers a student’s college tuition after federal and state aid has been applied. Impact scholarships will be available until funding is exhausted.
All scholarships are open to all eligible students regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability or age.

*If a student remains in continuous attendance at the university and becomes Pell and KEES eligible, contact the Office of Transfer and Adult Services to have your Impact 2+2 eligibility reviewed.

Impact 2+2 Renewal
The University of Louisville will continue to award the Impact 2+2 Scholarship each fall and spring semester for six (6) semesters to complete a bachelor's degree.
- The Impact 2+2 Scholarship is only awarded for fall and spring semesters, not summer.
Renewal Criteria
- Be enrolled full-time each semester to receive the award.
- Maintain continuous attendance. If a student cannot maintain continuous attendance OR needs an extra semester to complete their degree, a petition form is available.
- File a FAFSA each year.
- Must meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress policy.
