Honors Log-In Advising
Have last-minute advising questions during Drop/Add week? Then Honors Log-In Advising is for you!
Log-In Advising is a virtual version of our Walk-In Advising process where those who are first-logged-in will be the first to be virtually advised by the first-available Honors advisor. Please note: You will not sign up for a future appointment through this process. You will log in to CardSmart on the day/hour during which you would like to meet with an advisor. Once you have logged in to CardSmart for Honors advising within the time-frames below, you will be placed in our virtual queue. Shortly afterwards, an advisor will contact you to begin your meeting in MS Teams. See below for full instructions!

8:30am - 11:30am and 1:00pm - 4:00pm

How does this process work?
You will sign into CardSmart during the designated times (8:30 - 11:30 and 1-4) and request a meeting (instructions linked above). This immediately places you in our virtual queue. An advisor will see that you have joined the queue and will contact you through MS Teams to start your virtual advising video conversation. You will not receive a link; please keep MS Teams open so an advisor can contact you via instant message.
Depending on how many people are in the queue ahead of you, you may wait up to 20 minutes before an advisor can meet with you. If you have questions about your position in the log-in queue, please feel free to contact Honors at 502-852-6293 or via the Honors Service Account at firstname.lastname@example.org. We appreciate your patience with the process, and we would be happy to help you with any questions you may have!
Advising will be delivered via MS Teams. We ask that you please be prepared for a video meeting with an Honor Advisor so that we can better serve you by sharing screens and providing advising information to you as clearly as possible. Please follow these steps to add yourself to the queue for Log-In to virtually meet with the first-available Honors advisor on Teams. If you need to speak with a specific advisor, please email them directly for help.
- Download the Microsoft Teams app to your computer or mobile device using your ULink log-in credentials, and log in once it is downloaded. While there is a web-based option, we have found that downloading the Teams app directly to your device typically works better for these kinds of meetings.
- Log-in to your CardSmart account and follow the instructions for checking in for Honors Log-In Advising.
- Please stay logged into MS Teams and wait for an Honors advisor to contact you via the chat to let you know when your video advising meeting will start soon. We appreciate your patience during the waiting process as this is a first-come, first-served advising system.
