Honors Peer Advising

If you are currently in Good Standing in the University of Louisville Honors Program, and you are interested in helping advise entering Honors students during Summer Orientation, you should apply to become an Honors Peer Advisor!  In Honors, our Peer Advisors work closely with the advising staff and administrators to assist incoming Honors first-year students with course selection and registration during Orientation. Additionally, Honors Peer Advisors promote and discuss the University Honors Program to new students and their family members.  While the advising portion of this job concludes at the end of Freshman Orientation in July, Honors Peer Advisors are also expected to continue to serve as Honors Student Success Ambassadors for the duration of the upcoming academic year.  In the Fall semester, Honors SSA's assist with Honors first-year seminar instruction, meet individually with their first-year mentees, and provide overall support and mentoring to these students throughout the rest of the academic year.  For more information about the role of Student Success Ambassador and the application process, please visit this website.

The application for Honors Peer Advisors for 2024-25 has closed.  Please check back in November 2024 for future opportunities!
