This endorsement is designed for teachers who would like to be better equipped to teach reading in their own classrooms. It may be completed as part of the Master of Education in Teacher Leadership, the Master of Education in Literacy, a Rank I program, or as a stand alone endorsement.
The program for this endorsement consists of 6 courses (2 in the fall semester, 2 in the spring semester and the final 2 courses in the summer session). Courses are offered 100% Online.

Rank I programs are planned graduate level programs designed for Kentucky teachers seeking rank change for salary purposes. Rank I programs are not degree programs. They are recognized only in the state of Kentucky. By state regulation, Rank I status is sixty (60) semester hours of approved graduate credit including a Master's degree. A Rank 1 program can be designed to include either of the endorsements to meet your unique professional needs.
