I am Psyched! is a multimedia pop-up exhibit that honors the contributions of women of color to the field of psychology. This exhibit centers the voices of women of color and provides a platform for visitors, especially women and girls of color, to see themselves represented in the field of psychology. The exhibit was developed by the American Psychological Association Women’s Programs Office in collaboration with the Drs. Nicholas and Dorothy Cummings Center for the History of Psychology and Psychology’s Feminist Voices Oral History and Digital Archive Project.

The exhibit is free and hosted by faculty and students of the University of Louisville Counseling Psychology Programs, in collaboration with UofL’s Commission on the Status of Women and Commission on Diversity and Racial Equality, at the University of Louisville Student Activities Center (SAC) on the Belknap Campus.

The exhibit will be open to the public from April 12th until April 19th, 2019.  A specific schedule will be available soon.  From April 15th, 2019 to April 19th, 2019 the exhibit will also be open for reservations.  If you are interested in bringing your class, students, organization, or group to view the exhibit, please contact us at to schedule a reservation.  While the exhibit is self-directed, a volunteer will be present to support visitors and answer questions.
