Scholarship programs for high school students attending UofL in 2025 to achieve dual credit.
Scholarships & Aid
The Dual Credit Scholarship helps Kentucky high school and home school students pay for dual credit classes at UofL.
To qualify students must be:
- A Kentucky Resident
- A junior or senior in high school
- Be enrolled, or approved for enrollment, in an approved dual credit class at a participating Kentucky college or university; and
- Complete a 30-minute college success counseling session each year a scholarship is awarded.
Students may take up to two general education courses in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to UofL by KHEAA upon receipt of enrollment data from the college. Students can view their scholarship activity on MyKHEAA.
The Work Ready Dual Credit Scholarship helps Kentucky high school students pay for dual credit courses that are part of a Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathway approved by the Kentucky Department of Education.
UofL offers work ready classes in the fields of Business, Education, and Public Health.
To qualify students must be:
- A Kentucky resident.
- Enrolled in grades 9-12 at a Kentucky high school.
- Be enrolled, or accepted for enrollment in, an approved dual credit course at UofL.
Students may take up to two approved CTE dual credit courses in the 2024-2025 academic year.
