Biography
Dr. Julie Huang is a Professor of Accounting at the University of Louisville College of Business. Her research focuses on financial reporting, auditing, disclosure, and the interaction between regulation, managerial behavior, and capital markets. She has published extensively in leading peer-reviewed journals, including The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting and Economics, and other top-tier and high-quality outlets. Dr. Huang’s research has been recognized with major awards, including the American Accounting Association’s High Relevance Research Award, and has been featured by Columbia Law School’s Blog on Corporations and the Capital Markets. She regularly presents her work at international academic conferences, serves as a reviewer for top accounting journals, and is actively engaged in mentoring doctoral students and junior faculty.
