Biography

Steve Noble serves as a part-time instructor at the University of Louisville School of Music, teaching courses in Music History. In his full-time role off campus, he serves as Principal Researcher for Accessibility at Pearson Education where he conducts accessibility and usability research to support the effective usage of Pearson’s digital assessment platforms and content for students with and without disabilities. He also serves part-time as Content Specialist in Mathematics and Science for Bridge Multimedia. He has an extensive research background on digital accessibility with a special focus on how to make mathematics and science content accessible to students with disabilities. Previously, he has served as Director of Accessibility Policy at Design Science, Inc., as a Policy Analyst for the Kentucky Assistive Technology Service (KATS) Network, and as Manager of Product Development for Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic, in Princeton, NJ (now known as Learning Ally). He also served a 10-year term as a member of the National Instructional Materials Accessibility Standards (NIMAS) Board for the US Department of Education.
