Biography

I am a health economist. My work sits at the intersection of microeconomics, statistics, and health policy. Understanding and analyzing the root causes of health inequalities, conducting health policy analysis, and performing economic evaluation in healthcare are primary areas of my research. I am currently an associate professor and interim chair at the Department of Health Management and Systems Sciences at the University of Louisville’s School of Public Health and Information Sciences (SPHIS). I also hold the position of health economist at the Center for Health Equity (CHE) at the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness (LMPHW).
