Biography

Scott Campbell is the technical services librarian at the Brandeis School of Law. He joined the law school in 1994 as automation librarian and has since overseen the development of the library’s technical services and computing resources. He upgraded the library’s computer lab and helped establish its first web pages, expanding digital access for students, faculty and staff.

Before coming to Louisville, Campbell worked from 1988 to 1994 with the Queens Borough Public Library in New York as a reference librarian in the Social Science and Fine Arts departments. He also served as an assistant branch manager and automation librarian.

At Brandeis, Campbell manages the library’s collection of Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis’ papers and has presented on the collection to students, faculty, alumni and distinguished guests, including U.S. Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer. He also served on the Brandeis Sesquicentennial Planning Committee and maintains the blog Brandeis and Harlan Watch.
