Research Interests
My research interests encompass the development of cutting-edge statistical methodologies and their application across diverse domains, including but not limited to high-dimensional data analysis, quantile regression, group testing, survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, cluster analysis, causal inference, functional data analysis, and statistical learning. The grants I've been awarded, such as one NIH R03 grant, one NIH R21 grant, and one NSF grant enable me to pioneer innovative platforms for investigating heterogeneous covariate-outcome associations within various biomedical data sets.
My collaborative research covers a wide range of fields, including econometrics, genetic analysis, cancer research, diabetes, and language development in hearing-impaired infants.
Moreover, I'm deeply interested in utilizing statistical models to evaluate the impact of health policies on Medicaid data. For example, I'm actively engaged in projects assessing the effects of initiatives like the expanded access to telehealth in KY-Medicaid, and have participated in several State University Partnership (SUP) projects in this area.
