Biography

Nicole Herring is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology with a primary focus on professional healthcare education. She is the anatomy thread director across the integrated biomedical sciences curriculum and the course director for the head and neck course of the integrated biomedical sciences curriculum for the first year dental students.  Within the medical student curriculum, she is the embryology thread director as well as a anatomy lab faculty and lecturer.  

Nicole's research focus are primarily in two areas: healthcare education and clinical application of anatomy.  Current projects include a focus on teamwork in the dental gross anatomy lab and surface anatomy & imaging for mastery of head and neck anatomy.
