Biography
Nan-Ting Chou, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Louisville. She earned a BA from National Taiwan University, and her Masters and Ph.D. in economics from The Ohio State University. She has published in a wide variety of academic economics and finance journals. In her career, she has worked for, or served as a consultant for companies including the Central Bank of the Republic of China, AT&T, GE, and the Bank of Louisville.
Research Interests
Nan‑Ting Chou’s research focuses on money and banking, applied economic analysis, and the Chinese economy. Her work integrates empirical methods with policy‑relevant questions, emphasizing how financial systems and institutional structures shape economic outcomes.
