Biography

Lisa Blum is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Accountancy and Commercial Law Department at the University of Louisville. She teaches federal taxation and commercial law in both undergraduate and graduate programs. She earned her B.S. in Accounting and B.A. in Psychology from SUNY Buffalo, her J.D. from SUNY Buffalo School of Law, and her LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law. Her scholarship focuses on taxation, estate planning, and bankruptcy. Before joining UofL, she worked in the New York offices of KPMG and Deloitte, where she gained extensive experience in corporate and individual tax matters.
