Biography
In his many years of teaching in higher education in Canada and the States, Dr. Zeng has designed, developed, and directed numerous courses and programs. At UofL, besides teaching Chinese, Chinese culture and literature, Dr. Zeng has been an active affiliated faculty member of the Asian Studies and has also supervised or mentored numerous visiting scholars from China, post-doctoral, and Humanities’ Ph.D. students. Trained in both Eastern and Western literature fields, Dr. Zeng’s research interest is broad, period/time-crossing, and often framed in a comparative way. His recent service as chair of CML enriched his overall career experience.
