Biography

Jima M. Fahnbulleh is an Assistant Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Academic Success Program at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. She teaches and mentors law students with a focus on academic success, bar preparation, legal writing, and exam performance, helping students build the skills needed to succeed in law school and on the bar exam.

Before joining Brandeis Law, Fahnbulleh served as Associate Director of Academic & Bar Success at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she developed academic support initiatives, bar preparation programming, and individualized advising for law students. Her legal experience also includes serving as a staff attorney with the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Public Health Law Center at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She also owns and operates an immigration law practice, where she represents clients in a variety of immigration matters.

Fahnbulleh's scholarship focuses on legal education, bar preparation, constitutional law, health law, and public policy. She regularly presents on academic success, bar exam preparation, health equity, and legal education.

She earned her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a Master of Public Health from the Indiana University Fairbanks School of Public Health. She received her bachelor's degree in Law & Society, *magna cum laude*, from Purdue University. Fahnbulleh is admitted to practice law in Indiana.
