Biography

Dr. Rasheed is one of the general cardiologists as part of Norton Chilsren's Cardiology Department. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisville, followed by her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She then completed both her pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan.

In 2023, Dr. Rasheed returned to her hometown of Louisville to join Norton Children’s Heart Institute as a general cardiologist. She also serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics. Passionate about medical education, she currently leads as the Cardiology Resident Educator and within her clinical practice, she has a particular interest in Kawasaki Disease.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rasheed is a devoted mother to two toddlers and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and family.
