Biography
Dr. Herstine is a pediatric cardiac intensivist and single ventricle cardiologist in the Norton Children’s Heart Institute and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric Critical Care and the Department of Cardiology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She also serves as co-leader of the single ventricle home monitoring team for the Heart Institute.
Dr. Erin Herstine received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, cum laude, from Wofford College in 2008, and graduated with her Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Carolina in 2014. She completed Pediatrics Residency at the University of Louisville. She then went on to complete fellowships in both Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and Pediatric Cardiology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
