Biography

Dr. Davis is an epidemiologist and anatomical sciences faculty member at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She teaches gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, embryology, and cadaveric labs to first-year medical, first-year dental, and Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology graduate students. She also collaborates with the University of Louisville Nurse Anesthesia program to provide cadaveric anatomical instruction.

Dr. Davis's research focuses on evaluating environmental exposures and health disparities within the field of maternal and child health. Her interests are in assessing the differences in nutritional and environmental exposures, access to care, and the development of health outcomes among those that are pregnant, of reproductive age, adolescents, and children. She also conducts research in medical and dental education, utilizing her training in study design and biostatistical methods.
