Biography
I have been an Information Systems (IS) and Project Management (PM) practitioner and professor since 1991. As a PM practitioner, I have held various roles, including IT Consultant, Systems Analyst, IT Director, IT Project Portfolio Manager, Senior Technical Project Manager, Senior Technical Program Manager, Technical Portfolio Director, and Chief Information Officer (CIO). I have worked for companies primarily in the Healthcare industry, including Berea Hospital (St Joseph Healthcare), Rehab Management Services, Baptist Healthcare System, The Little Clinic, and Anthem. I have also served in both adjunct and core faculty roles for such institutions as Kentucky College of Business, Brown Mackie College, Boyce College, Capella University, and our beloved University of Louisville (Go Cards!) In addition, I hold several technical and professional certifications, including: Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Fundamentals Certification (SFC), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Certified Novell Administrator (CNA), Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), and Internet+, Network+ and A+ certified technician by the Computing Technology Industry Association (COMPTIA). I hold a PhD in Information Technology (IT Education specialization), a Master of Business Administration (focus in Technology Management), a Post Masters Certificate in College Teaching, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Educational Psychology.
