Danielle Edwards

Biography

I was born and raised in Mayfield Kentucky and received my undergraduate degree in Chemistry in 2014 and my PhD in Neuroanatomy in 2019 from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. From 2019 until 2025, I taught gross anatomy and neuroanatomy to medical, dental, and allied health professional (physician assistant, physical therapy, and masters) students in addition to co-directing the Master’s in Anatomical Sciences. I moved to Louisville in summer of 2025 and teach gross anatomy and neuroanatomy to medical and dental students. My research interest are in technology, particularly 3D printing, in medical education.
