Biography

Daniel Blatt is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where he has been a faculty member since 2020. He has clinical focuses in infection prevention and infectious diseases in transplant and immunocompromised pediatric patients.
 
He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts, completed his pediatric residency at the University of South Alabama, and completed fellowship training in pediatric infectious diseases at Brown University and Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
 
Dr. Blatt’s work spans clinical care, medical education, and academic scholarship, including participation in federally and industry-funded clinical trials and peer-reviewed publications. He maintains an active commitment to global health through ongoing work at Tamale Teaching Hospital in northern Ghana.
