Biography

Benjamin P. Foster, Ph.D., CPA, CMA, is a Professor of Accountancy at the University of Louisville, beginning at U of L in 1994.  His doctorate degree in accounting is from the University of Tennessee.  He received an M.B.A. from Murray State University and a B.A. in accounting from Kentucky Wesleyan College. He has work experience in local CPA firms and served as controller and Vice President of Finance with a privately held corporation.  He has published articles in numerous accounting and finance journals including Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Accounting and Business Research, Accounting, Organizations & Society, The Review of Business Information Systems, Research in Accounting Regulation, Cost Management, and The CPA Journal.
