Biography

Audrey D. Kline, PhD joined the faculty at the University of Louisville in August, 1993. As an applied microeconomist, she has enjoyed teaching a variety of microeconomics classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her research incorporates applied microeconomics and applications of industrial organization to economic history as well as contemporary issues. 

After earning tenure and promotion to associate professor, Dr. Kline served the College of Business in several administrative roles, including chair of the department of economics, MBA program director, associate dean, associate dean for graduate programs, associate dean for research, and senior associate dean. She served in administration for over 15 years in the COB before returning to her faculty role.
