Biography
Dr. Adam McCord is Associate Professor of Saxophone at the University of Louisville School of Music, also having held positions at Indiana University, Miami University, Ohio Northern University, Wittenberg University, Wake Forest University, and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
Dr. McCord performs regularly with the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) and the Louisville Orchestra (LO), among others. He can be heard on the GRAMMY-winning recording The American Project with the LO, he has recorded on the Deutsche Grammaphon, Navona, Arizona University, and Mark Custom Recordings labels, and is a Yamaha and D’Addario Woodwind Performing Artist.
