Biography
Aaron Barnes is the LaDonna and Charlie Johnson Assistant Professor of Marketing in the University of Louisville College of Business. He earned his PhD from the University of Illinois Gies College of Business in 2020. Prior to joining UofL, Aaron spent 4 years running his own subscription company and 2 years at a consulting firm in New York City.
Aaron’s research on cross-cultural consumer behavior, attitudes, and branding has been published in premier outlets such as Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
He teaches Market Intelligence and Customer Insights, Principles of Marketing, Multiculturalism in the Marketplace, and Multicultural Marketing Strategy.
Research Interests
