The UofL Foundation advances the university through financial support and stewardship. Founded in 1970, the Foundation is directed and supervised by a board of directors whose members each serve three-year terms.

UofL Health, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation governed by an independent Board of Directors and is a related organization (as defined under 42 CFR 413.17) with the School of Medicine. Board members and meeting schedules are listed here.
