Operations is comprised of Auxiliary Services, Physical Plant, Contract Administration and Procurement Services, Public Safety and University Planning, Design and Construction.

Operations oversees departments from UofL campus store and dining services to physical plant and procurement. We strive to provide operational effectiveness and the enhancement of the overall experience that is aligned with the university’s vision and mission.

Ensuring an excellent campus experience
Campus Store
From textbooks and school supplies to UofL gear and graduation gifts, the official UofL campus store has everything our students need.
Cardinal Card Office
The Cardinal Card is the official identification card for the University of Louisville students, faculty, and staff.
UofL Print and Mail Resources
Canon Solutions America provides all printing and mail to the university, including copier servicing and supplies.
Providing operational support and effectiveness
Auxiliary Services
Auxiliary services includes: dining; vending; parking and transportation services; copy, print and mail services; the UofL Campus Store; and the cardinal card office.
Contract Administration and Procurement Services
Contract Administration and Procurement Services (CAPS) is responsible for administration of all procurement contracts, PSCs, procurement systems, procard, stockroom, surplus and asset management.
Physical Plant
The department of physical plant maintains the physical facilities of the University of Louisville. Physical Plant provides efficient and timely service to support the university’s goals for students, faculty and staff.
Public Safety
Public safety provides safety and security needs for the students, faculty and staff at the university. This unit includes the card cruiser program, clery reporting, as well as emergency management services.
University Planning, Design and Construction
The Office of University Planning, Design and Construction (UPDC) provides planning, management and design services for construction and renovation projects, leasing, property acquisitions/dispositions, classroom scheduling and space management.
