Clinical Psychology Ph.D.

Clinical psychologists integrate the science of psychology with the treatment of complex human problems. Students in our clinical psychology program are trained to assess and treat those in need of mental health services as well as conduct the research that will help enlighten our understanding of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders and their treatments. Experimental Psychology Ph.D.

Experimental psychologists conduct research to better understand the processes that underlie human behavior. Their research is used to improve the human experience, such as, to improve teaching and learning, promote healthy child development, or to develop more effective hearing aids, for example. Students in this program develop skills that prepare them for careers in academia as well as non-profits, government, and industry.
