Sports and Business

The Sport Administration minor provides a comprehensive understanding of the business side of sports, exploring sport marketing, management, technology, communication, governance, sales and international applications. With a curriculum designed to enhance your expertise in the sport industry, the program offers opportunities to learn from experienced faculty and build real-world skills that are valuable across various professional settings.

The College of Education and Human Development’s Sport Administration minor prepares undergraduate students the opportunity to gain knowledge to work in a variety of management positions in the sport and education industries. The SPAD program has a diverse student population representing a variety of geographical, cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds.

The minor is open to any undergraduate student at the university. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 to be admitted to the minor.
