Race/Gender Studies (Minor)

Explore the intersections of race, gender and culture with the Race/Gender Studies Minor. Open to all majors, this program equips students with critical insights and analytical tools for careers in social justice, education, advocacy, media and community leadership.

The minor blends courses from Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies and Pan-African Studies, including topics like racism, sexism, global poverty and Black feminism. Students engage in critical analysis, literature and history, choosing electives to match their passions. Gain the knowledge and perspective to drive social change and excel in careers advancing equity and inclusion.
