Mathematics (MA)

Offers advanced study in pure and applied mathematics, emphasizing research, problem-solving and faculty mentorship. Students gain skills for careers in academia, industry or further graduate study in mathematics or related fields.

This research-focused program provides graduate-level coursework in analysis, algebra, statistics and applied mathematics. Students participate in colloquia and interact closely with faculty. The Accelerated BA/BS-MA option allows high-achieving undergraduates to begin graduate coursework early, integrating up to 12 graduate credit hours with their bachelor’s degree to accelerate completion and deepen expertise.
