English Creative Writing (Minor)
The English Creative Writing minor combines foundational courses, advanced workshops and literature electives to sharpen your craft and analytical skills. Gain hands-on experience creating, editing and presenting work, building a portfolio that supports careers in writing, publishing, media or further academic study.

Students wishing to major in English and minor in Creative Writing will have to earn a minimum of 126 credits to complete both the major and the minor.
At least three (3) semester hours of the requirements for a minor must be successfully completed while enrolled in the University of Louisville.
