Microsoft 365
Enrolled students have access to cloud-connected apps and services through Microsoft 365. Using their ULink credentials, students can sign in to their Microsoft account and download the Microsoft 365 suite—including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, and Teams—at no cost on up to five devices.
Additional Software Resources
The tutorials page provides students with tutorials and quick links for key ULSOM technologies, including RedMed (login, user guides, calendar sync, and gradebook access) plus essential services like email and campus Wi-Fi setup. It also includes resources for Microsoft 365 tools (OneDrive/OneNote/Teams), video platforms (Zoom and Panopto lecture recordings), common study and clinical tools, required assessment software (Examplify, NBME Secure Browser, Respondus), and IT support contacts. Note: The medical student Macbook Pros come pre-configured with all necessary software listed on this page.
Library Resources
The Kornhauser Health Sciences Library Medicine Portal is a centralized hub that directs UofL medical learners and clinicians to high-use clinical information and research resources. It highlights key tools for point-of-care decision-making and evidence-based practice (e.g., UpToDate and other EBM resources), along with commonly needed drug and clinical references.
The portal also serves as a navigation gateway to year-specific resource pages (M1–M4) so students can quickly find materials aligned with their current stage of training.
