July 7, 2025 (Louisville) - The University of Louisville (UofL) Department of Pediatrics recently promoted 15 faculty members. These faculty members represent 11 divisions, and over 150 years of collective service.

"These promotions recognize the outstanding contributions each individual has made to their field, their students, and the broader academic community" says Department of Pediatrics Chair Kim Boland. "Their achievements reflect not only their personal excellence, but also their commitment to our academic mission."

These eight Department of Pediatrics faculty were promoted to Associate Professor:

• Sarah Wilkens, MD
• Leann Baker, DNP
• Cindy Crabtree, DO
• Kevin Havlin, MD
• Tara Kopp, MD
• Bethany Woomer, MD

These seven Department of Pediatrics faculty were promoted to Professor:

• Siddharth Shah, MD
• Jennifer Thompson, MD
• Kerry Caperell, MD
• Andrea Krause, MD
• Karen Orman, MD
• Yi Tan, PhD
• Sucheta Telang, MD
