Three New Chief Residents Named to University of Louisville Department of Pediatrics Residency Program

Incoming Chief Residents come from the University of Louisville Pediatric Residency and Med/Peds Residency Program

July 1, 2025 (Louisville, KY) – The university of Louisville (UofL) Department of Pediatrics will be welcoming in three new chief residents for the 2025-26 academic year: Megan Bath, Shelby Meshinski, and Morgan Robinson. All three are graduates of the UofL School of Medicine (UOFLSOM) Pediatric Residency Program.

“It’s an exciting time for Megan, Shelby, and Morgan to take on these new leadership roles” says Pediatric Residency Director Dr. Sara Multerer. “Each candidate exemplifies our mission of inclusive excellence in clinical care, medical education, pediatric research, and community advocacy. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish.”

Drs. Bath, Meshinski, and Robinson will be replacing UofL Pediatric Chief Residents Emily Allen, Ally Howard, and Dylan Vish who have served in that role since August of 2024.

Dr. Allen will be moving to Madison, Wisconsin where they have matched into the Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship program at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.  They are eager to apply the skills and experience gained in Louisville to a program recognized for its excellence in clinical training and research.

Dr. Howard will remain here in the Louisville area, joining the UOFLSOM Department of Pediatrics General Pediatrics division, joining the team at the Novak General Pediatrics Clinic. Dr. Howard is deeply committed to advancing pediatric healthcare in the local community. In her new position, she is eager to positively impact the health and lives of children, continuing her commitment to providing compassionate care to the Louisville community.

Dr. Vish will also remain in the Louisville area, joining the UOFLSOM Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship, where he will receive training in a complete range of clinical and procedural skills, as well as experience in management of the intensive care unit environment.
