Exterior of Cardiovascular Innovation Institute

Our program offers residents the opportunity to participate in research studies at the Cardiovascular Innovation Institute (CII). The CII conducts a multi-disciplinary research and educational program at the interface between biology and engineering. The goal of the program is to address critical clinical problems in cardiovascular disease, to conduct basic research, to transfer advancements to the bedside, and to support the commercialization of discoveries.

Through enhancements in facilities and resources for strategic addition of faculty, staff and students, the CII enables students, faculty and collaborating institutions to make lasting contributions to medicine and biology, to make discoveries, and to develop new technologies.
