✨ Program Overview: Career Changer & Record Enhancer
Our competitive program supports students seeking medical school admission through two tracks:
- Career Changer: Ideal for students with little or no pre-med coursework.
- Record Enhancer: For students with pre-med backgrounds looking to boost their GPA or MCAT scores.

- Career Changer Deadline: March 1, 2025
- Record Enhancer Deadline: February 17, 2025
🚀 Career Changer Program
This track is tailored for individuals transitioning into medicine with minimal pre-med coursework.
Great fit for:
- College grads (Bachelor’s by August 2025)
- Those with ≤ 12 credit hours in biology, chemistry, or physics (including labs)
Not a good fit for:
- Students who've completed most pre-med courses
- Applicants looking to boost GPA or MCAT scores
📈 Record Enhancer Program
This track strengthens your academic record with two options:
🧪 Track 1: Pre-Med Coursework
- Retake or complete core pre-med classes
- Includes MCAT prep, tutoring & learning strategies
🎓 Track 2: M.S. in Physiology
- In partnership with UofL’s non-thesis master’s program
- Must complete Track 1 to qualify for Track 2
🌟 Both tracks include clinical shadowing, community volunteering, and comprehensive application prep.
📋 Applicant Requirements
- Citizenship: U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Education: U.S.-based Bachelor’s or higher degree
- GPA: Minimum 3.3 (flexibility possible)
- Test Scores: One of: ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT, or LSAT (no expiration)
- Science Credit Hours: Career Changer: ≤12; Record Enhancer: ≥13 or MCAT complete
🎯 Standardized Test Score Minimums
- ACT: 24 composite
- SAT: 1200/1600 or 1750/2400
- GRE: 50th percentile (each section)
- GMAT / LSAT: 50th percentile composite

- 📝 Recommendation Letters: Two required. Recommenders should also complete the Recommendation Form
- 📚 Transcripts: Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended. (UofL students: see exceptions below)
- 📄 Resume or CV
- 🧪 Test Score: Submit one qualifying score

- Orientation Week: July 22–26, 2024 (mandatory)

- Decision Notification: Within 1–2 weeks of interview
